Shan Jose is a communication designer, art director, travel photographer and film maker. He has previously worked across creative agencies like Ogilvy, McCann World Group and Havas Worldwide. As a designer, he has been working with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams for over 13 years. He lives in Bangalore, where he design for Interactive, Print, Film, Identity and Motion Graphics. In 2012, He was one of the 10 Hottest Young Art Directors in Indian Advertising featured in Brand Equity by The Economic Times. A brainchild of Enercent Technologies, TruePower seeks to democratise power by making e-mobility a reality for every Indian driver who wants to set things right with the planet. They are building a groundbreaking high-power charging network throughout India. We were asked to develop the name and brand design for this venture.

Our goal was to develop a bold, energetic and innovative brand, both in terms of its visual appearance, and its name. The yellow and black colour palette used because the brand needs to stand out clearly in the cluttered of service stations environment. The powerful and bold brand design is the embodiment of the company’s vision: power to the people. We developed a design guide that summarizes all branding rules and principles, enabling all stakeholders to implement the brand effectively.
